david is the director of the production company advance with whom he has a slate of feature film projects in development. advance also provides training, development and consultancy services at international level.

David has consulted on single feature film projects and slates based in US, Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

david’s directing credits include the award winning feature film MILES FROM NOWHERE.

training and development work currently includes working annually as consultant / moderator for The Rotterdam Lab at CineMart and devising and delivering  Story Campus, a travelling conversation on the nature and future of storytelling for the screen.

david is a BFI associate tutor and industry mentors for First Light the BFI backed initiative to support filmmaking by young people.
